I created notification rule but notifications are not sent. What should I do?

Notifications are not sent to one triggering notifications, so you need to verify that notifications are sent by sending it to another user account. Also, if your notification rule sends notifications to multiple e-mail addresses, make sure they are separated with a comma " , ".

I want to delete user account from Testlab. Will it delete some of my test data?

Deleting an user will not delete any other data in the Testlab, so no fear that it would delete eg. requirements, test cases or issues.

Why does Testlab claim that we have more concurrent users than licenses?

Users should log out using the Quit - button in Testlab menu. Closing the browser or tab, or otherwise quitting Testlab without actually logging out will leave the session alive for an hour during which the user will still reserve a license. Administrator can terminate these sessions in manage company - sessions tab.

Where can I see the currently logged in users?

From the Testlab - menu on top left corner open Manage Company. You can see logged in users on Sessions - tab. Users that aren't currently using Testlab (for example, closed laptop without logging out) will display as idle.

I edited a requirement / test case / issues file in excel and want to import it in to Testlab. I get an error "Import failed: Error: Invalid input: XXX field is not mapped to any column."

This might be due to Excel generating the output file in UTF-8 with BOM format. Testlab read UTF-8 without BOM.

Best solution is to use other spreadsheet software, such as Libre Office - it produces UTF-8 without BOM. This will help you in other issues as well.

Another solution is to save the file using another character encoding. ( Most propably your excel procudes Windows-1252. When importing data in Testlab, you need to define this as a character set )

I'm changing the workflow of a project. Testlab asks me to map the user roles. Why, and what does effect does it have?

Testlab projects store the user roles in various places ( for example you can define which user roles should receive notifications ). When changing the workflow, the usable user roles might chance. This mapping phase is used to tell Testlab how to chance the data.
